It was recently two years to the day since I woke up and couldn’t get out of bed. A summer that led to me being diagnosed with chronic pain and ME/CFS with possible strains of Fibromyalgia. Two full years. I can’t quite believe it. I felt the date coming, I’d put it in my diary a while back because I felt I should mark it in some way. Instead I ended up in bed with norovirus so it sort of passed me by (in the way that anything does when you find yourself with vom in your hair) but I…

N.B. This post is a bit of a Debbie Downer until about 3/4 of the way through… Today was a bad day. Biona Amaranth & Quinoa bread for breakfast toasted with sardines (loving this combo in the morning) and a homemade salad nicoise for…

Maybe it was just a coincidence but I’d just read Sweet Nothing where the author Nicole gives up sugar and feels like crap for the first three weeks. Was I was subliminally thinking I felt the same thing? Maybe, or maybe it was just an off day.  Still, I managed to scoff down avo on toast (which I’m pleased I didn’t instagram),…
