Hi gang, I hope you all had lovely weekends. I had a goodun. Some of my favourite people came to stay at the flat, we went to an engagement party and cooked an almighty breakfast today. So those were the highlights. The lowlight was me going over on my foot outside H&M and crying in the street. I’m definitely in that post-op recovery place of getting a wee bit too bold on the crutches because it’s feeling better, but there will be the odd mishap along the way. I’ve just come back from a spa in the Lake District which was possibly one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m in some sort of zen-relaxed-higher-state-of-being this afternoon. I’ve even bought some glasses for the occasion. I’ve always loved that ‘new pencil case, new start’ feeling you get at this time of year. Even though this should be something like my 20th #STOAS (it’s only my 11th – oops!) I am giving up beating myself up for…
